Snow Woman, like shadow or stain.

The Snow Woman, who is directly affected by the global warming in the deep mountain, seems to be ageless. You have heard a rumor that, with a ghostly aura, she is making a snowman right? Although Snow Man is more known, it is always the Snow Woman who appears in Haiku.

Falling leaves of Magnolia, they were Matasaburo, the wind imp.

Falling leaves of Magnolia are walking towards me, with a rustling sound (kasa-kasa-kasa). Oh, they start running. They must be the legendary wind spirit, Matasaburo. It was in an afternoon when the mountain behind my house was bright and shining for once.

Frost flowers, writing a will seems possible but impossible.

There was a TV program that demonstrated how to write a will, following the saying, “Birds leave a place clean”. For me, a will seems to be impossible until the last minute. But I know someone who re-writes the will on the New Year’s Day, every year. The frost flowers bloomed all at once after several hits by cold waves.
